There are two ways to create a new contact list:
- Uploading the template file
- Selecting the specific groups from the ‘Add Contact List’ page
We will look at the first option ‘Template File’
First, click on ‘Download Template File’ icon
Second, you only need to enter data into the first 3 columns: First name, Last name and Email
Once you have entered all your data into the template, save it as a csv file.
Now you are ready to upload the saved template to create your new contact list.
Click on ‘Choose File’ and choose your new saved Template File.
Now all you need to do is name your new Contact List.
At the top of the page in ‘Contacts Name’ field add the title for your new contact list.
Finally, click on the ‘See Contacts’ button at the bottom of the screen to submit the new contact list.
A new page will load showing all the contacts you entered into your CSV file.
Check that all of your contacts are present. If not, you will need to check your CSV for errors e.g. duplicates, etc.
When you are happy with the list click on the ‘Submit’ button.
A message will appear at the top of your screen to show you it has been submitted successfully
You have now created a new contact list.
